Papaya Was A Rolling Stone Burger

The Adventures of Burger Boy begin with the PAPAYA WAS A ROLLING STONE BURGER a burger that assaults the core of your taste buds.  From the sweetness of the salsa to the savoriness of the ham to the heat of the habanero Jerk sauce nothing gets missed with this bad boy.
Ingredients
half pound burger patty
burger bun
slice of ham
jerk sauce (we prefer Ahruns Famous Voodoo Magic)
shredded lettuce
mango papaya salsa

Mango papaya salsa recipe
2 oz. mango diced
2 oz papaya diced
1 oz red bell pepper diced
1 oz. red onion diced
small bunch of cilantro chopped
1 tspn brown sugar
sprinkle of salt

1. Prepare mango papaya salsa. Refrigerate for a couple of hours to incorporate flavors.

2. Heat grill and cook burger patty to desired temperature.When burger is almost done place ham and bun on the grill.

3. Shred iceberg lettuce and place on bottom of bun. Place burger patty on lettuce. Top with grilled ham, mango papaya salsa and drizzle of jerk sauce. Make sure to have plenty of napkins. This is a messy one.


Like mine with a little extra ham!

Stick with iceberg lettuce. Other lettuces don't hold up to the heat as well.
